Motor is the JP ER-120 motor and easily replaceable in the retract unit. When you have an unfortunate event and need a replacement, it doesn't take long to exchange the motor unit.

Great batteries

At last count I own 24 of these. I use them in .40 and smaller aircraft which are mostly 3D profiles. They work extremely well, strong, fast and center well. I was likely the influence for William who also reviewed these to try them. I’ve had similar experience to his after replacing servos that didn’t center well in an airplane and having it totally transformed. My only concern with these is where the wire exits the case. It can be damaged while drilling mounting holes if one isn’t careful. Not a big deal if one is aware and careful though.

I unfortunately, burned out 2 of my landing gear motors by using too much voltage and had to change them out. Surprisingly, it only took a few minutes each and now they they work as good as new!

Proline servo extensions by AR are very well-made. The serval wire is high-quality, as is the connectors. The servo wire is encased in a protective covering sheath. I like this for my large giant scale projects.

I now have 8 flights on my Super Elan and I couldn't be happier! It is extremely stable but performs every aerobatic maneuver with ease and grace and with no gyro. The Super Elan is also a joy to land - nice , slow and with the nose raised like a real F16!
The build was fun too; there is plenty of room to mount all of your equipment with room to spare.
If you want an easy to build and easy to fly jet with full aerobatic capabilities, I highly recommend the Super Elan!

Been using another major brand (TP) for years, only to be disappointed with the last 3 orders. Ordering two batteries of the other brand, one battery would have matched cells, while the other was way off requiring over 30 minutes longer for a balance charge. I thought I would give Pulse a try. Totally happy with these packs. Giant Scale 3d can be a challenge for me. The last thing I need is the distraction of poorly made batteries. With Pulse, I feel totally confident in their ability to consistently deliver. Totally sold on Pulse and highly recommend.

The jet overall is great.
The only problem I had was with the manual. If you never built before you would be in trouble.
I had a terrible time getting the wing tube to go thru the fuse. I ended up using an old wing tube and sanded that down in that is ok now. The other one is trash, it got stuck in the fuse and I had to pull it out with a pair of channel locks.
Flys like it is on rails with a gyro and love the thrill.
