Nice tank but would have preferred one on top of other

The tank is great as I can have fuel and smoke fluid in one tank. I think a better design from a balance perspective would have been one tank on top of the other. Fuel on bottom and smoke on top

Well worth it.

I wanted to have a smoke system in my Boomerang Ranger. That required replacing the massive stock fuel tank with something more reasonably sized to allow room for a smoke tank. In spite of the size and shape constraints of the tank location, I did come up with a plan to do this with traditional plastic fuel tanks, but it would have been a messy installation. At first, I was discouraged by the price of this Jet Tech tank, but once I put that concern aside, and looked at the convenience, the safety, and the security of having all the fluids in one kevlar tank, it made sense to go this route. It worked out really well during the installation as this tank has been in and out of the fuselage dozens of times while situating other components and wiring. Note that the side bulkhead (by the air intakes) has to be trimmed back 1/8” in order for this tank to fit. In the end, I am very pleased that I purchased this tank!
